Activation of Agni Tattva (Fire Element): Lighting a sacred brass diya purifies the immediate atmosphere, burning away sluggish, heavy energies (tamas) and dispelling subtle vastu doshas.

Attracts Enduring Prosperity (Sthir Lakshmi): A steady, sacred flame placed in pure brass acts as a magnet for positive prana, inviting the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kubera.

Elevated Pedestal Protection: Raising the flame above the ground honors sacred altar etiquette, keeping the Agni element dignified and isolated from surface contaminants.

High Energetic Conductivity: Brass is considered a sattvic alloy in Agamic traditions, amplifying spiritual chants and maintaining tranquil vibrations across the home.

Best Directions (Vastu Shastra):
East: Point the wick spout toward the East to encourage vitality, health, and family peace.

North: Directing the flame toward the North (Kubera’s direction) promotes career success, wealth, and continuous cash flow.

Precaution: Avoid positioning the lamp facing directly South.

Setup Steps:
Cleanse the lamp gently with Gangajal or pure water before its maiden lighting.

Place the pedestal over a small brass plate (puja thaali) or clean yellow/red silk cloth to catch any natural oil drips.

Insert a twisted cotton wick (batti) resting smoothly along the pointed spout lip.

Fill the bowl with pure cow ghee or sesame oil and light during morning or evening prayers (sandhya kaal).
