Pairs well with

Dispel stagnant atmospheric energies, awaken divine consciousness, and invite celestial harmony with this Handcrafted Antique Brass Pooja Ghanti with Ganesha Shankh Finial. Cast in resonant, high-grade solid brass with a warm antique golden patina and detailed relief oxidation, this traditional temple hand bell (Ghanti) combines sacred iconography with balanced handheld ergonomics.

  • Intricate Ganesha & Shankh Finial (Shikhara): The apex of the handle is sculpted with an auspicious double-sided motif featuring Lord Ganesha’s trunk and head merged within the sacred form of a conch (Shankh), crowned with ceremonial floral medallions and side ribbon ribbons.

  • Turned Ergonomic Pillar Handle: Designed with a ribbed, multi-tiered baluster column and bulbous middle grip that fits securely in hand during extended morning prayers and twilight aartis.

  • Dual-Tiered Floral Bell Flare: The lower bell skirt is encircled by deeply etched scrollwork, blossoming creepers (latas), and traditional beaded relief bands.

  • Resonant Solid Clapper (Tongue): Suspended securely inside by a reinforced brass link, the heavy solid-metal clapper delivers a sustained, clear, and melodious resonant chime upon striking the sound chamber.

Standing at an impressive 19.5 cm (~7.67 inches) in height with a 6.5 cm base diameter, this bell produces the classic resonance required to mark the start and culmination of daily puja.

Benefits

1. Channels Primordial Sound (Nada Brahma): In Vedic ritual science, ringing a pure brass bell produces the sacred sound of ॐ (Om), piercing through lethargy (Tamas) and filling the room with high sattvic life force.

2. Purifies Spatial Vibrations: The acoustic frequencies generated by solid brass bells clear lingering negative energies, dispel the evil eye (drishti), and dislodge stagnant energy pockets around the house.

3. Symbolic Alignment of Deities: According to Agamic scripture, the body of the bell represents Goddess Saraswati, the clapper represents Lord Ganesha and breath (Prana), and the crowning handle represents the supreme protector (Ishwara).

4. Prepares the Mind for Meditation: The lingering chime draws the five senses inward, helping devotees disconnect from mental distractions and focus entirely on the deity.

How to Install/Place?

1. Ritual Ringing Protocol:
• In traditional Vedic aarti, the bell is held and rung with the left hand in a steady, rhythmic cadence while the right hand offers the lighted diya, incense (dhoop), or aarti thali.
• Ringing signifies welcoming the gods (Aagamarartham tu devanam) and dispersing untoward energies (Gamanartham tu rakshasam).

2. Altar Placement (Vastu Shastra):
• Keep the bell on the left-hand side of the altar (from the devotee's perspective) or beside the aarti thali on a clean brass plate or silk cloth.
• Precaution: Always rest the bell upright on its circular base; avoid leaving it lying on its side on the altar.

3. Setup Steps:
• Cleanse gently with rose water or Gangajal before its maiden ritual use.
• Offer a drop of sandalwood paste (chandan) and a fresh flower to the handle during invocation prayers.

Best day to Install/Place

To align with the energies of money, abundance, and prosperity, start Install it on a 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 or as per Vastu Amrit Expert. Its ability to draw prosperity and good vibes is enhanced on this day.

Material & care

Daily Cleaning: Dust gently using a dry, soft microfiber cloth to keep ash, camphor soot, and dust away from the handle engravings and floral rim.

Interior Maintenance: Periodically wipe the interior sound chamber and clapper with a dry cloth to prevent grease or oil build-up, ensuring the chime remains crisp and resonant.

Periodic Cleansing: When needed, clean gently using a soft cotton cloth with mild soapy water or traditional brass cleaning paste (such as Pitambari) to renew its warm golden highlights.

Moisture Protection: Always dry completely with a clean towel immediately after any contact with water to prevent water spotting and maintain the dark relief patina.

Avoid Abrasives: Strictly avoid steel scrubbers, hard-wire brushes, or harsh acid-based chemical detergents, as these will scratch the detailed surface relief and remove the dark antique patina.
